A Covid Requiem

A COVID Requiem: Music for Remembrance

We all need ways to grieve the losses due to COVID-19. Cappella Romana offers here the rarely heard funeral service for mixed voices by the late Sir John Tavener, with Byzantine funeral chants composed by John Michael Boyer for Sir John’s funeral in 2013. These works help us to embrace courage and hope for the future.

Performed in memory of those who have died from COVID-19.

Remembrances

For this program, we invite you to share one or more names of those you’ve lost to COVID-19, through a secure form. During the program, we will display these names in solemn remembrance.

Memory eternal, may they rest in peace.
