A song of Creation and Ikon of Light
Inspired by the discovery of the Higgs Boson, Heaven and Earth is a musical meditation on Psalm 103 (“Bless the Lord, O my soul”) by six Orthodox composers, including a double-choir motet by the late Richard Toensing. Sung in English with the traditional Orthodox refrains. Members of 45th Parallel will join Cappella Romana for Tavener’s Ikon of Light.
