Music for the Virgin Mary
From the earliest days of the Christian tradition, the faithful have venerated the Virgin Mary through song, telling the story of her life and of the cosmic significance of her role as the Mother of God. This program highlights how choral music has told her story over the past 100 years through music by Brahms, Rachmaninoff, Tavener and more. We also give a special place to the late Father Ivan Moody (1964-2024), to whom this concert is dedicated. Learn more here.
