The Oregonian‘s David Stabler released a list of top spring arts events for Portland, and next weekend’s performance of Robert Kyr’s A Time For Life is a “second season” best!
“Kyr’s environmental oratorio weeps for the earth. In our vast and seemingly hopeless effort to save the planet, ‘A Time for Life’ is a note in a bottle, reminding us that we are here but momentarily. Cappella Romana, the Portland choir that premiered the piece in 2007 to rave reactions, repeats this quietly stirring work by the University of Oregon composer.” —David Stabler, The Oregonian
